Change default settings in discussion to show the entire post?

Is there a way to set the default for discussion forum to show the entire post? When I want to follow a conversation, it is annoying to have to click "more" on each post. It breaks the flow.

If there were a way to make the discussion forum act more like a blog or social media app, that would greatly enhance the discussion dynamic.

    Hi Rene,

    The screenshot you shared shows a thread within a topic.

    Threads are meant to be independent of one another.

    The blog or social media-style layout you mentioned would appear once a thread is opened, where all related messages are shown together.

    This is an example of how students could have a conversation inside a thread like a social media app:
