Discussion settings:post and completion

At present, the system allows for the selection of only one accordion option under the Post & Completion settings. The available options are as follows:

• Default participation
• Allow learners to hide their name from other learners
• Learners must start a thread before they can view or reply to other threads

However, it is important to note that these options are specifically designed for a certain function, meaning only one can be active at a time. As an example:

The option “Allow learners to hide their name from other learners” is designed to anonymize participation across the discussion board. When this setting is enabled, all student names are hidden from peer view, ensuring complete anonymity among learners.

This feature fundamentally alters the visibility of participant identities, so it cannot be combined with the other settings. For example, enabling anonymity would conflict with the expectation in the third option, where "learners are required to start a thread before interacting with others". A workflow that typically assumes visibility of participants.
