    Hi @Julie.C.17 ,

    In Brightspace, a green dot next to a user's name in the Classlist indicates that the user is currently logged in to the Brightspace system. This signifies that the person is online and may be actively working in Brightspace or another course. The green dot is an indicator of the user's online status, not necessarily that they are currently in your specific course.
