Course Selector on Minibar Settings

Is there any way to configure the course selector on the minibar to show the Advanced Search bar?

    Hi @Ellen.W.101

    The Advanced Search bar will become visible once a user is enrolled in and has access to 25 or more courses. This threshold is set based on the d2l.Tools.Homepages.MaxCourses configuration variable.

    Please also note that the maximum value for this configuration variable is 100. Any value exceeding 100 will default to 100.

    In essence, the system has a built-in 25-course threshold. Users must be enrolled in more than 25 courses to see the Advanced Search option within the course selector.

    This configuration variable was removed and is no longer functional per our Product team. To make Advanced Search visible in the Course Selector, a user must:
