Is it Possible for Auditors to see Exam Details without being enrolled in the course?

We use the auditor function to allow company coordinators to monitor their employees progress in programs. When they view the exams or quizzes all they can see is the attempt number and the average score for all of the quiz attempts combined.

I found that it is possible to click on an attempt and get more quiz data, but it looks like the auditor has to be enrolled in the course in order to get that access. Is it possible for them to view the data for the user that is assigned to them without being enrolled in the course directly?

We have multiple companies employees in the same courses and we need to make sure that they only see the data for their employees and not others.

I reviewed the documented behavior for Auditor access and compared it with how Quiz information is exposed through Class Progress.

Auditors can view Class Progress information for users assigned to them without being enrolled in the course. This includes quiz progress and attempt-related information available through Class Progress.

However, access to more detailed quiz submission information is controlled separately through Quizzes permissions and is not granted by the Auditor relationship alone. Because of this, there is no documented option that would allow an unenrolled Auditor to access full quiz attempt details while automatically limiting that access only to their assigned auditees.

Since you have multiple companies sharing the same courses and need to maintain separation between learners, I would recommend submitting a Support case if you would like your specific role and course configuration reviewed for possible alternatives.
