What causes Learner names to appear in Bongo Insights - Learner?

Hi,

Would like to check if anyone knows if there's a particular behaviour/trigger for learner names that appear in the Insights - Progress dashboard.

Reason for the question is because we noted that in our class of 80 students, only the names of 2 students appeared in the Insights dashboard - Learners.

I had originally assumed that the name would appear if the student had accessed the assignment - but I did a test and it did not behave so. The name was reflected even though the student did not access it.

Hence, would like to understand the reason behind it. Thank you.

Thanks so much for your question.

I did some testing on our internal site and was able to reproduce the 'not viewed' status you're seeing. It appeared for me when I selected the assignment LTI, but did not allow it to fully load, moving away from the page to another content item:

Learners may also be selecting the LTI and seeing the permission request for the first time, not selecting it, and then moving to another content item. A view without accepting the request will still be logged and show as 'not viewed'.
