Add calendar events across multiple course shells at once?

I’m wondering if there is currently any way in Brightspace for an instructor to create a calendar event once and apply it across multiple active course offerings simultaneously.

As an example, one of our instructors currently has 10 active course shells and would like to add items such as:

• stat holidays/college closures
• conference absences
• class cancellations
• instructor away notices

Currently, they appear to need to manually create the same calendar event separately within each course shell, which can become quite time-consuming.

I'd appreciate any suggestions or ideas on what would be possible to help support this workflow.

While copying a calendar invite to other courses isn't directly possible, I wonder if using the Announcement/News tool copy-function would be a suitable alternative.

Once an Announcement is created within one course, it can then be copied to other courses.
