Final Calculated Grade doesn't match sum of displayed grade item contributions?

When viewing a student's Final Calculated Grade breakdown, the individual grade item contributions (shown as "X / Y% of final grade") add up to a different total than the Final Calculated Grade displayed at the top.

For the gradebook I am working on, the displayed Final Calculated Grade is one percentage point lower than what results from manually adding up all the individual grade item contributions shown in the breakdown.

Is this a known behavior in D2L? Is there a way to view the exact unrounded values being used in the calculation, or a setting that controls rounding precision to avoid this confusion for instructors reviewing grades?

    Hi @Heather.B.4264,

Thank you for reaching out to us via Brightspace Community!

Could you please confirm if, in the setup wizard, there is no option to drop selected items, either to drop the ungraded/lowest grade or Treat ungraded items as 0? As this will be reflected in the Final Calculated grade?

    Thanks,

    Rusha
