Setting a Release Condition for Pacing and Progress
Hi! Has anyone set up a release condition for pacing and progress widget? IS there a way to create an assignment or quiz with a release condition that when they complete their P&P schedule set up that the course will be released?
I would like all my students to use this so we can send regular updates through the widget and not many students have completed this yet. Trying to figure out how to make it easier on instructors to get kids to do this.

I am sorry that it's currently not possible to use activity on a widget as a Release Conditions in Brightspace. The Pacing and Progress is a custom widget developed by D2L for your organization, but the same applies to the system widgets too.
With that being said, you could lock assignment and quizzes behind a Release Condition of having completed a Checklist (or items of a Checklist) in Brightspace. You could create a Checklist with items related to the P&P widget and then have the Students mark them as completed.
I don't know, from a pedagogic perspective, if this would be an efficient way of getting the kids to use the widget more, but it should work as an incentive towards it.
