Upcoming events won't disappear from Calendar widget on Homepage

Kia ora,

We're setting up a template course that we can easily use to base other lessons on. We have cleaned this template of all assignments, quizes etc, but for some reason the Calendar widget still displays quizzes as upcoming events:

When you go into the Calendar tool, it does not show any upcoming Events or Tasks:

Is there a setting or something we may have missed somewhere? I have tried deleting and re-inserting the calendar, but it does not change anything.

Any tips or help would be appreciated!

I managed to fix this! For anybody in the future that comes along with a similar problem, it had to do with our calendar permissions. We could see the calendar, but could not edit it fully Once we changed our permissions we were able to delete the events 👍
