I'm trying to use learning resources for teachers on cognia and i can't create certificates

Hello,

I am having a lot of trouble with this new page. I would like to assign certificates of completion to my teachers who are done with their labs and I can't for the life of me find where. I don't even know where the admin tools menu is. please help!

To assign certificates of completion to your teachers in Brightspace, here’s a step-by-step guide:
Step 1: Create a Certificate Template

1. Go to the Awards tool in Brightspace.
2. Click on Certificate Templates.
3. Select New Template and customize it (e.g., teacher’s name, course, completion date).

Step 2: Set Release Conditions (Optional but Recommended)

1. You can add Release Conditions (e.g., completing a module or course) when creating an award.
2. This lets the system know when to issue the certificate.

Step 3: Manually Award Certificates

1. Go to the Course > Classlist, then the Awards tab.
2. Select the users (your teachers), choose the award, and click Issue.

Optional: Automate Certificate Issuance

Use Intelligent Agents to issue certificates automatically once the criteria are met. This is ideal for large groups and saves time.

You also said you don't know where the admin tools menu is?
If you are ASC, then log in to your LMS, and on the right side, you'll find a cog wheel that's called the admin tools area
