Quiz Tool: Random Draw From Question Pool Categories With Quiz Section

So this is a super specific question from one of our faculty. It doesn't seem possible, but I thought I would ask.

Faculty has a question pool. Questions are organized into categories. Each category has at least 20 questions.

Goal: Faculty wants to build a quiz with sections. Under each section, the faculty wants the system to randomly draw only a certain number of questions from the corresponding question pool catgegory. Not all questions, only some of them randomly.

This can be done without quiz sections. However, the minute you add quiz section, this option does not seem to be available.

Any thoughts?

Can you try it without selecting the entire section/folder? In my image below, If I select the entire folder then all questions get added, but if I wanted just specific questions in that folder, I click on them and then on the left, I would enter whatever number I needed in the "Number of Questions to Select" area box.
