Manager Dashboard Displays Inactive Employees

Hi,

My company just implemented Brightspace as our Corporate LMS and I'm wondering if any of the Corporate customers have the following issue - and/or how they resolved it.

Love the Manager Dashboard, but when our employees become former employees, we make them inactive in Brightspace. Despite this, they still remain as a User on the Manager Dashboard. We need to retain the Users in the system, but the managers are only concerned about driving training completions for active users. How can I get Inactive Users to NOT display on the manager dashboard?

    Thrilled to hear you love the Manager Dashboard!

    Setting a Brightspace user's status to 'Deactivated' should remove that user from the Manager's view of the People tab in Manager Dashboard. There is, however, a slight delay in the time it takes for the system to refresh the view. So give it a minute or two and refresh the screen, and you will find the deactivated user has been removed.

    Similarly, if you set a user's status to 'Activated' again, the user will be added to the Manager's view of the People tab in Manager Dashboard. Again, give it a a few minutes and refresh your screen.
