LOR and broken content links

An Instructor in one of our continuing education courses has published a significant amount of content (PDFs, documents and images) to an LOR and spent significant time linking that content in their course. A few days later, it was discovered that those content links seemed truncated so that they referenced the appropriate LOR but not any specific file, seemingly, without any instructor input, breaking the links and returning a page not found error. In addition, it would appear some files published to the LOR have suddenly gone missing.

Has anyone had similar difficulty working with the LOR in Brightspace? The reported problem affects a template course and 6 sections that were copied from that template so you can imagine what a nuisance this represents.

Looking forward to hearing your experiences using the LOR in Brightspace!

    Hi @Alex.D.717,

Thank you for reaching out in the Brightspace Community.

Based on what you’re describing, I think it would be a good idea to have a support agent take a closer look at things.

If you are the ASC/ Admin for your Organization, please refer to our documentation for how to log a Support case OR request (https://community.d2l.com/brightspace/kb/articles/1175-approved-support-contacts-create-a-case-or-service-request), and a member of our Support team will be happy to assist you.

    Thanks, Ana

    Thank you, Ana!

This is currently the subject of an open support case but I thought I would reach out to the community to see if anyone else had a similar experience. For now, I will wait for the support team to complete its investigation and go from there.

    Thank you for your time!
