Can instructors share homepages?

I know that in the course export options part of the homepage can be shared. I am particularly interested in sharing a homepage layout template as an instructor. When I export my widget homepage, the banner and similar settings transfer, but my widget selection and placement does not. I'd like to avoid duplicating work. At the very least, I would like to make my homepage once and have it show up as an option for any of my courses. Ideally though, I'd like to share the homepage layout template with my colleagues.

At the moment, it is not possible to share homepages created at the course level. However, if you create a homepage at the organization level or any other level which drills down to course level, you can add organizational units under the "Make homepage available to Add Org Units" section or use the Force Homepage. Once this is done, the homepage will automatically appear under the courses linked to the selected/forced organizational units.
