Time sensitive!!

Hello,

We want to set up an office hours scheduler for three instructors. I do not see Scheduler in the Tools. How do I enable this? Is it through config variable browser?

We don't have a scheduler per say, but you can schedule office hours in your course calendar.

Thanks for reaching out to Brightspace! Personally, I haven't tried this myself but heard a tip from a colleague that you can try to create a similar tool.

Using the Groups Tool in Brightspace, instructors are able to set up self-enrolment groups for teacher support such as 1:1 student-teacher discussions, manage in class assessment appointments for online learners, etc.

The Groups Tool also makes it easy for instructors to manage schedules with self-enrolment functionality. Instructors have the ability to publish a list of available appointments their students can book. They can add an Office Hours widget (see example below) to encourage students to sign up for time with their instructor outside of class.

@Courtney.M.362 That's an independent tool that staff at Carleton University created. The files are available at GitHub if your D2L admins want to test it out.
