Export/Import Brightspace Packages do not seem to provide identical setup

I have an org unit/module with content, quizzes, release conditions, grades. The layout in Content is basically Parent folder and Sub-folders with pages, quizzes. Had planned to export this out as a Brightspace package so that my users can download the package at their own time and import this package into their own modules via Import Components.

However, after some testing, I realised that while most items do get copied over, there are some that do not :

1. Course Copying does not seem to copy the quiz - grade item association. Users will have to set it up again in their own module.
2. When I import a Brightspace Package package, the quizzes that I had set up in Content disappeared. The quiz can be found in Quizzes itself but I have to manually add it back into Content.
   1. But when I tried to replicate this export/import with a different and smaller Brightspace package (i.e. Content = One folder, one quiz, one page), the content layout is retained.

So in sum, these are the questions I'm asking:

• Are my export/import results consistent with what other users have attempted? D2L community are welcome to share. 🙂
• What's the expected behaviour of exporting/importing a Brightspace package? Should the imported content be identical to what was exported?

We really appreciate your feedback on this. :) When exporting and importing Brightspace packages, it's expected that most course components, such as content, quizzes, and grades, are transferred. However, certain associations and placements may not be preserved.

Based on this documentation - https://community.d2l.com/brightspace/kb/articles/16771-import-export-or-copy-course-components "When importing a grade scheme, a scheme not associated to a grade item within the course offering is only copied if the grade scheme is unique". Another documentation - https://community.d2l.com/brightspace/kb/articles/17055-about-import-export-copy-components states that "if you have a quiz that is associated with a grade item, be sure to copy both the quiz and the grade item at the same time. As long as the associated components are copied together, links between them are retained." Some manual adjustments may be necessary to fully replicate the original course setup, especially in larger courses.
