Why can't I drag a folder that is within one unit to make it a separate new unit?

After the import from our current LMS into Brightspace, all of my weekly modules (Week 1, Week 2, etc.) are within the Course Content unit shown here. But I want each weekly module to be a separate unit instead. I can't seem to drag the entire Week 1 module, for example, above Course Content to make Week 1 a separate unit. It just bounces back to its current position. Do I need to move each item within Week 1 separately? I want to completely get rid of the Course Content unit eventually.

@Peggy.R.1517 An easy way to do it is by using Course Builder. Go to Course Tools —> Course Admin —> Course Builder. From there you can expand the modules (click the +) and drag and drop a folder or click the dropdown arrow on a folder and select "Move up" or "Move to" if you want to specify a destination.

This is not something that we cannot yet do in the "new content experience" (NCE) that you are using here, @Peggy.R.1517. You can make it happen with a quick, temporary setting change though. Just switch to "Classic" content for a minute to make changes and then switch back to NCE right after. I captured this video to show you what I mean:

Thank you for that, Lindsay. That's good to know, but I think our LMS administrator is going to turn off that option of being able to switch back and forth, so that faculty will all be forced to use the same "New Content Experience," to produce consistency in what students see in all of their courses.

Thank you, Yildiz. The "Move to" choice was the one that worked for me. :-)
