Using Replace Strings

When I am in New Content Experience and using Replace Strings in my module description it is saving with my settings and not the replace string. D2L says that this is a known intermittent problem, but I can't seem to get it to work at all. Does anyone have a suggestion that may be better than just keep trying? It is getting tedious resaving all the time and my instructors that I send these instructions to are not going to bother using it when it is this difficult.

    Thank you for reaching out to us on the Community site.

    Currently, the feature to allow replace strings in the Content tool(Classic & New Content Experience) does not exist in the LE.

    However, there is a feature request submitted in the Product Idea Exchange that aligns with your ask and is submitted as below,

    Make replace strings work in Content (as it does elsewhere), and allow custom tokens (D272)
