When exporting some contents out as a Brightspace Package, copyonly the ASSOCIATED files & not all?

Hi Brightspace Community,

Here's the context of my situation. I'm looking to copy one Content folder out as a Brightspace package. I have to do export package instead of "Copy Components from another Org Unit".

I came to realise that by doing "Export as Brightspace Package", I don't have the option to extract only the associated files. ALL files get exported and as a result, the file size for the Brightspace Package is way huge. I guess I could slowly work my way through the files and delete those I don't need. Are there any other ways to export a Brightspace package with only the associated files?

Thank you for reaching out to us on the Community site.

Currently, the feature to only export out associated files using the Export as Brightspace Package feature does not exist in the LE.

However, there is a feature request submitted in the Product Idea Exchange that aligns with your ask and is submitted as below,
