I have three Brightspace courses that don't seem to be editable. Why is that?

You could be on the learner's view.

Go to the Course where you want to switch roles.

In the top-right corner, locate your profile picture or name.

If role-switching is enabled, you will see an option for “Switch to Instructor” or Click on the X

Once switched, you will have access to the instructor tools such as grading, course editing, and managing content.

When you're done, you can switch back to the learner role by following the same steps and selecting "Switch to Learner".

Hello @Joe.M.742, it seems that you need to contact your administrator to learn more about the roles and permissions you have within the platform: https://community.d2l.com/brightspace/kb/articles/4451-about-roles-and-permissions . If you have the necessary permissions and still wasn't able to edit the courses, you can always reach out.
