No, it is not possible for users to delete event logs in Brightspace. The system automatically logs key activities, such as grade entries and changes, and these logs are maintained for audit purposes. However, it's worth noting that there may be limitations to what types of events are logged in certain cases, especially if changes were made in an unexpected way or through an external system integration.
In your case, if the event logs appear empty or incomplete, this could indicate an issue with how the changes were tracked. You may want to consider checking with your Brightspace administrator to further investigate whether there was any system-level change or issue that affected logging. Additionally, it could be beneficial to verify if any third-party tools were integrated into the gradebook, as these might interact with grade entries in ways that are not logged in the standard event logs.
If you have concerns about tampering or unexpected grade changes, I recommend working closely with your Brightspace admin to perform a detailed audit and to check other activity logs for additional clues, such as login activity or changes made through API integrations.

@Chris.W.565 Are you checking the right Event Log? View Event Log that appears at the bottom of the drop down list on a grade item is just for changes to the grade item itself (such changing max points, category, description, etc.). For the Event Log that shows the changes to grades entered for that grade item, you have to choose Enter Grades from the drop-down list on a grade item first, then click the drop-down next to Grade Item: [name of grade item] at the top of the page and there will be another View Event Log at the top of that drop-down list.
(There is yet another View Event Log under the More Actions button, which shows the creation and deletion of grade items.)
