Why is 'select evaluators' not available in my assignment?

By all accounts I should be able to select evaluators for an assignment, but it's light blue and cannot be clicked. I have 7 evaluators to choose from (Instructors & TAs for a merged course of multiple sections). The settings for this assignment are as such: Available and unlimited file submission and all are kept. Any one ever come across this?

    Hi Marc.C,

    This normally occurs when assignment settings are locked. I'm assuming you are also seeing the following message when editing the assignment?

    This is the only use case in which I can replicate your experience.

    Thanks, Chris! Yes, that message appears at the top. OK, I'll try to toggle some settings to see if that will 'unlock' things. I appreciate your help!
