How can I set up grades for two different classes in one grade book.

I teach two classes that go together but they have two separate grades to report. One is a regular class and one is a practicum class. I would like to have a Final Grade column for EACH of the classes and be able to categorize each assignment to be counted in either the 420 column or the 421 column.  I used to do this with Blackboard but our university switched to Brightspace.  How can I do this? Thank you!

Thank you. I have assignments for both classes listed in the course some under the category 420 and some under the category 421. I need to keep those final grades separate in the grade book because I have to report a 420 grade and a 421 grade at the end of the semester.

I'm not sure I understand. Is this correct:

You have assignments for these related courses that you want to count in each of them?

Or You want to post assignments in both courses, but only have them count for one of the courses?
