If you are accessing Brightspace through a web browser, when you are logged in, you should be able to pin a course by using the course selector menu (the 3x3 "waffle" icon near your name) at the top of the page.
Click on the course selector menu and then click the pin icon next to the name of the course that you want to pin.
You can also pin from the My Courses widget available on the Home page. There are three dots that appear over a course, which opens a menu. The menu has a "Pin" option, which will pin the course.
