There are lots of ways folks are developing VR and AR experiences that are hosted in Brightspace.
This article describes one external tool called NearPod that can be used to embed VR Activities into Brightspace

A wonderful group from Trios College presented at this year's Fusion on how they're using AR to build out simulations. Often these activities are embedded as a QR Code in a content topic- but they don't have to be.
