Can survey feedback be restricted to only those who participate?

I'm wondering whether surveys is the right tool. I have an academic who wants to give feedback to students, only if they respond to survey questions.

    Hi Sue,

    Thank you for reaching out to us through community.

    When you create a survey , there is an option/checkbox : Feedback: Give instant Feedback

    This option will remove the Submit option from a non-editable survey. Any feedback entered for a question is instantly available to a user taking the survey.

    And then when you create the questions for survey, you can add feedback

    So you can add feedback in the survey questions and once you attempt it, they will be provided with feedback.

    HI Sreelakshmi, I have the instant feedback box checked, but even if students do not press anything, and then press submit, they are given feedback. Can we restrict feedback in a survey to only the questions they answer?
