Can I add an email address to the navbar?

I'm trying to add an email address to the Help menu in our navbar. I insert it as a mailto: link, but when I click on it, it's opening up the domain name URL instead of the email address.

    Hi Maureen,

    Unfortunately not that I'm aware. You can try some of the URL shortening services to encode the email address into the URL request but you may find the user experience is not as 'clean' as you want. That is, the user will be directed to an empty Brightspace html page but the users email client will try to create a new email message using the users mail client.

    An alternative to consider is to create a custom widget with the contact information and add it to the course offering/org unit homepage.
