Feedback on recent changes to the PIE

Hi folks, Just a comment that I'm not loving recent updates to the PIE. With this change, we are no longer able to:

- "Like" posts (and all existing "Like" info for posts has disappeared).
- add images in replies…in fact, all images I previously added are no longer visible. They have just become dead link text.
- edit posts after submitting (which I sort of agree with…although it's frustrating if all I want to do is fix a typo)

Was input sought for these changes? If so, from whom and how?

Thank you so much for reaching out to us about these changes!

The updates to upload images were not intended and thanks to your note we were able to track down what led to that change and revert it. You'll see the option to add attachments is now back in place.

The option to edit your own idea is also now back in place.

We're still working on likes- can you help us a bit more with this one by sending a screenshot of where you're expecting to see the like option? That will help us to confirm that we're both looking at the same option in the same part of the user interface.

Thanks for looking into this Tommy.

My comment re "editing one's own idea" related not to the ideas themselves but rather to the comments underneath them. I believe I was previously able to edit my comments after posting.

Re the "Likes", I believe there used to be an "upvote" option for individual comments not just for the idea itself; one of the icons as part of the iconset for each post.

Kind of in the same way as we can interact with a post to comments here on the Community.

If part of the goal of the PIE is to build a sense of voice, community, and agency, I view removing options to interact with one another as a step backwards.
