If you have the Manage Courses permission, you can delete courses or templates individually or in bulk using the Courses tool. We recommend using this method, as the Course Management tool will be end-of-life in February 2026, and if your organization has lots of similarly named course offerings, Courses has helpful filters to let you ensure you're removing the right ones. Deleted courses and course templates are placed in the Recycle Bin in the Org Unit Editor, and can be easily restored or permanently removed from the Recycle Bin at a later date.
You can restore a course by following the steps in the Org Unit Editor documentation.

First, you need to make sure that your user has the right permissions to delete course offerings.
If you do have permission, the easiest way to delete a course is to go into Org Unit Editor and then find the course offering you want to remove and click on it. Then you should be able to click "Move To Recycle Bin" button at the top of the page. The course offering will be moved into your instance recycle bin for 30-days and then it will be permanently deleted. 😁
