Is there any way to recover a student comment in reply to an assignment feedback comment if the student has since deleted it?

    Thank you for reaching out to the Brightspace Community.

    Based on the description provided, I'm not sure what you meant with regard to student comment in reply to an assignment feedback comment as the student can only see the Feedback comment given by the instructor in the Grades area. There is no option for the student to add a comment of feedback via the grades tool.

    However, text comments and feedback left, when these are deleted there is no way to retrieve any of these.

    If you would like more options I would suggest the submission of a PIE item, or upvoting one that suits your use case.
