Is there a way to expand a widget size so it takes up more screen space?

My organization uses a widget-based homepage that has a two-panel layout. The left widget is the main focus of the screen and it shows the course content. Is there a way to expand the widget size so that it takes up more screen space vertically?

I find inefficient use of screen real estate to be an issue across the platform; whether we're talking about responsive sizing, visual clutter, too much white space, or widget sizing/layout. One thing you might try is ticking the "Render in IFrame" box. It's in the "content" area of a widget. I have found this useful in the past.
