    Hi Aditya

    There are a number of settings that could be preventing you from replying to a thread. Some prohibit replies before or after the start/end dates, another prevents you from replying to existing posts until you have authored your own thread, and another setting prevents replies from being posted until they are approved by a moderator.

    To determine your scenario, you'd need to reach out to your Brightspace Administrator to determine the configuration of that Discussion.
