Two different weighted grading systems

I have a blended class that has all the same assignments except for discussion boards. Is there a way to create a weight set for the in person students that is different than the distance students using groups?

Hi William.S.873,

If you are using Groups within the course, you could create a separate grade Category within the gradebook and set up a Restriction for that Category using Release Conditions.

1. Create a new grade category

2. Click on the Restrictions Tab

3. Click Create and Attach

4. Select the Conditions Type: Group Enrollment and Select one of the groups you created previously

This will ensure the Grade Category, and all grades within it, are viewable only by the learners within the Group selected.
