How can I later confirm emails sent through BrightSpace?

When I send emails to students using BS, how can I later confirm that the email was sent? Is there an equivalent of a "Sent Items" box?

Hi David,
Thanks for reaching out to the Brightspace Community! There is a “Sent Mail” folder you can access within the Email tool in Brightspace.
- From your course homepage, click the Message Alerts icon and then click “Email”.
- Above the area where you would go to compose a new message, click “Sent Mail”.
