Drop lowest 2 grades

Hi,
Is there a way have the lowest 2 grades drop automatically? I know you can go in and exempt grades/assignments from the total. If a professor doesn't want to go through 20 or more students and exempt their assignments individually, is there a way to do it automatically?

Another option to drop the lowest two grades is to use a Category in the gradebook under Manage Grades.

Within the Grade Category, you have the option under Distribution to add the Number of lowest non-bonus items to drop for each user, which you would mark (2) in this instance.

As grades are added for individual grade items within this category [when there are more than two graded items] the system will automatically drop the lowest two grades.
