Force subscriptions for Discussion Forums

Question

Is there a way to require students to receive notifications about recent posts to particular topics or threads in BrightSpace?  As far as I can tell, students have to actively "choose" to subscribe.

Thank you for your question.

In the current version of Brightspace(LE) the option to force all students to subscribe to discussion topics/forum does not exist.

I kindly request you to submit a feature request in Product Idea Exchange.
