Uploading .xlsx files to Content - any config settings here?

Hello,

I've noted that when uploading .xlsx files (Microsoft Excel files) to a course's content, it automatically converts the file to a .pdf file. A workaround I use is saving the Excel file as a .csv file as that file type does not get converted. Is there any way to configure our site so that .xlsx files do not get converted to pdf files? I have instructors who want to share .xlsx files on their course so that students can download and edit them offline.

    Hi Rodrigo,

    Thank you for your question.

    In the current version of Brightspace(LE) the feature to not convert .xlsx file to pdf does not exist.

    The students can click on the download button to download the .xlsx file
