Learners method of access to Portfolios

Hi,

I wanted to ask this question regarding today's (28.09.2023) webinar on the Portfolio roadmap. Am I right in understanding that the Portfolios you discussed today cannot be accessed via the D2L BrightSpace VLE courses for Learners? i.e. Learners need to have a separate app for it and that is not connected to any VLE course on BrightSpace that they currently have access to?

Hi Sulanie,

Thank you for your question.

I have checked and found that the learner can access the Portfolio tool in the vLE by clicking on their name and then clicking on the My Portfolio link

Below is the permission of the Portfolio tool which is required to be enabled at the Organization level for the learner role in order for the My Portfolio link to appear under the learner name in the vLE,
