Markdowns automatic in Content Editor?

Hello,

I was just curious if there was a way to turn automatic markdown updates off, whether it's a browser setting or a setting in Brightspace.

Like if I wanted to italicize something, I'd do " * Italicize this *", without the spaces.

To my knowledge, Brightspace does not have built-in support for Markdown. I have also tested on our sites and I am unable to implement Markdown in the Brightspace Editor tool. This may be a setting in your browser or a browser extension that has this enabled.
