Hello,
Even though I have assignments marked "In Grade Book," the assignments are not showing in the Grade Book. Do I still have to manually enter the assignments in the grade book? Or will this create duplicates? Thank you!

It could be that your assignment is not linked to its respective grade item in your course Grade Book.
If that is the case, then you must edit it to link:
In the Assignments tool,Click the dropdown menu right next to the desired assignment > Go to Edit
Now if your activity is not linked to your grade book yet, click the "Grade Out of" field.
Next, you will be prompted to link it to an existing grade item or create a new one:
When you click on "Edit or Link to Existing", you will be prompted to either select an existing grade item or create a new one.
