How do I prevent learners from downloading files?

Hi Joan,

Thank you for asking this question in the community. I found another community post where Andrea replied to the following answer.

There isn't a way to disable the download button in individual courses. The recommendation for our instructors is to share the file using OneDrive and set the sharing permissions to prevent downloading instead of uploading the PDF to D2L.

You have to get an administrator to change the roles and permissions in the system settings - not changeable in an individual course.

Does this mean they administrators have to shut it down for the whole campus, or an administrator has to shut it down on a course by course basis?
