Microsoft Teams Connector
Hello,
I've noticed that when an instructor creates a Teams meeting invitation from a class team generated through the Brightspace Microsoft Teams connector, the instructor does not have admin/organizer privileges in the Teams meeting. Essentially, the Teams meeting is created by the class team on behalf of the instructor. Since the instructor does not have organizer status, the instructor cannot do some tasks, such as creating breakout rooms. Has anyone else noticed this issue, and if yes, have you found a solution? I would like the instructor to be able to create a class team from Brightspace and hold organizer privileges when creating a Teams meeting invitation from the class team calendar.

Hi Emily,
Thank you for asking this question. Is this happening since you started the Microsoft Team connector? or it starting happening recently?

Hi Furkan,
Thank you for your response. This has been happening since I started the Microsoft Team connector. I implemented it into our Brightspace instance a few months ago.
