Hi Adam, image dimensions are going be driven by the size of your PDF template (Letter/Legal/Tabloid/A4/A3 etc) and how you choose to incorporate it into the template design. One of the main considerations is that the PDF template can only be 10MB in regards to filesize. This will start to drive the quality and size of the image imported into the template in addition to other elements that may be added. I'd recommend you do a little bit of trial and error until you get the balance between image quality and filesize right for the template size you choose to use. Hope that helps.
