Re-structuring semesters in Brightspace
We're looking into streamlining some of the non-IPSIS fed semesters/courses that staff and students are enrolled on. These include Student Hub spaces with institutional support pages and Staff module design resources.
What's the impact on moving support modules built in a different semester, say, 'Spaces' and move that to a semester called 'Staff Resources'?
A positive impact would be cleaning up the My Courses widget on the homepage, but what would be the negative impact of this?

This is a fairly common way of "archiving" offerings without removing them from Brightspace. There will be no impact other than relabeling their semester parent. If it makes it easier for you to locate resources and clean up the My Courses widget, then it's a good move.
