How to delete items from Manage Dates?

I have a course with many items showing up under Manage Dates because the course has been copied for several years. The page is too messy now to navigate, but the files are not showing up under Manage Files. How do I clean them up?

    May I suggest you try using the option 'Bulk Edit Dates' > Remove, option in the Manage Dates tool and see if this helps?
