How do I reset so that quiz hints are available?

I am a new instructor setting up a new course and my quiz says the hint is not available but I cannot find where to turn the hints on. Could someone point me in the right direction?

The New Quiz Experience makes enabling and creating hints easier for instructors. Creating hints for students during a quiz can improve their results, solidify learning, and improve students' engagement with the quiz content. 

How to turn on hints

1. On the navbar, click Quizzes.
2. Click on the quiz that you want to add hints for.
3. Click on Timing & Display.
4. Under the Display heading, click the Allow hints checkbox.

1. Click Save and Close.

How to add a hint to a question

1. In Quizzes, click on the quiz you want to edit.
2. Click on the question you want to add a hint to.
3. A new window opens where you can edit the question. Click Options.
4. Click Add Hint.

1. Type your hint into the Hint textbox.
2. Click Save.
