Student Feedback on Instructor Suggestions/Feedback

I am looking for a way for a student to be able to respond to inline comments and suggestions on writing assignments within D2L. We do have Turnitin, and the Feedback Studio integrated for assignments, but students would like to respond inline to comments made on assignments. Any suggestions?

    We were unable to find a way to do this in the Assignments tool. Harder to mark, but we use Discussions, set up as private to each learner. The student submits the materials for their assignment as a Discussion Thread, and via Posts on the thread, there is an interactive feedback.

    I appreciate your feedback. That might be a good solution, I was hoping a student would be able to address the suggested edits/comments right on the submission. At least with your suggestion, the process could become more interactive. Thanks.
