We have Nettutor coming out with a new LTI link but are unable to embed into a widget, does anyone have a workaround to this issue so that we can put it in a widget as well?

Have you tried exploring the following possibilities?
or 2. Another option may be to use JavaScript to open the LTI link in a new window or tab, rather than embedding it directly within the widget.
I would also recommend reviewing documentation and reaching out to support from Nettutor for additional ways to troubleshoot.
