Are release conditions reevaluated for a student in Intelligent Agents? In Announcement release conditions?

To send a communication to students who have NOT attempted a quiz, and to stop ending it after the "not" condition is no longer met:

Does the IA tool re-evaluate the condition each time it sends? Or if met once, is it always met?

It seems that the release condition applied to an Announcement get re-evaluated each time the student reloads the course home page. Does anyone know of an exception where, once the condition is met, it remains met?

  • Hi @Renee Judd

I tested this on our Support site and the condition was re-evaluated. Here's how it went.

    • Create IA (Release condition - Quiz not completed)
    • Run agent manually - 2 students identified (only 2 students in class)
    • Login as 1 of the students > take quiz
    • Run the agent manually, again - ONLY 1 student identified

So this means that the student who had taken the Quiz was then identified as "no longer meeting the condition" and hence NO email was sent out to them.

I hope this answers your question.

    Thanks,

    Rahul.
